If there is anything kids love doing, it’s dipping their food in fun dips and sauces. Dedicate one day a week to a “Dipper Day” lunch. Pair grilled chicken tenders with honey mustard. Cut celery and carrots to serve with Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® salad dressing. Or try dipping multigrain tortilla chips in salsa. Kids are guaranteed to love these fun twists on lunch.

My very picky 5 year old will NOT dip anything. --JUST A TIP- IF YOU HAVE A PICKY EATER LIKE MINE: I now tell him that this is what we are having for dinner, when he replies I Do Not like that, I simply tell him everytime, You cannot say you do not like it if you have not tried it!! If he still fights I stand my ground and continue to tell him that he has to try it first before It has been a regular battle royale for almost 2 months, but now he will try at least 3-4 bites then let me know what he thinks. He has actually started to include about 8 new items into his diet now.
However, when he decides that he does not like what we are having for a meal, he has to wait for either hid dad or I to finish eating but he has to have a fruit and some sort of vegetable before the sandwich. I have learned that if you have a child watch everyone else eating and enjoying their food then they are alot more likely to give in a little and it starts becoming a shorter time period the longer it goes on. The most important thing is to always stand your ground you run the house they should not be given that liberty.
Mmmm!
I eat veggies and dip all the time.
