How much do your kids know about your parents and their relatives? Are they able to spend a lot of time with them? Turn them into journalists today! Let them each choose a family member they'd like to interview. This is a great way for kids to learn more about their ancestry and how life has changed overtime. Give each of your kids an InkJoy pen and have them write questions to ask family members.
Brainstorm questions with your kids to help them get started.
- What year were you born?
- What was your favorite book to read?
- What technology do you wish you had as a kid?
If your family lives close by, take your kids to interview them in person. Let them choose a different color pen to record answers. It'll be easier for them to read their notes later. If in-person visits aren't possible, video chat or give your relatives a call.
Have each of your kids present the most interesting answers to everyone in the family.
What do you think your kids will ask?

My Son loves my inkjoy pens.
Such a fun idea! We don't live close but maybe they could do it over the phone or do it next year when we go to visit.
My dd had to do this in 3rd grade. She asked who your favorite teacher was, subject. 1st job, etc..
Cute idea!
