Yes, it's another take-off on Carly Rae Jepsen's infectious summer hit, "Call Me Maybe." But you can put all those others to pasture! The adorable little farmer singing "Farm It Maybe" is the only one your kids need to see.
Not only is 9-year-old "Lil' Fred" so gosh-darned adorable with his giant galoshes and jeans with the rip in the knees, but listen up parents ... the video he did with the help of big brother Justin shows off what life is like for kids on farms.
They don't sit and watch video games all summer. They milk cows. They drive tractors. Trust me, it's much cooler letting him sing about it:
Now could you picture your kids doing any of that? Growing up in dairy country, that was life for plenty of my friends ... is life for plenty of kids around here today. Kind of puts the fights over feeding the dog (which we still have at least two to three times a week) or putting your dish in the sink in perspective, doesn't it?
I'm going to call this the best Carly Rae Jepsen cover yet -- and that includes Cookie Monster's version. The kid's adorable, and the song is clever and catchy. Heck, maybe it's time to call the kids in and hope his work ethic is catching too!
Is your kid's day anything like Lil' Fred's?
