It's a story so sick and twisted, it's difficult to even comprehend, but fortunately it didn't end as badly as it could have. Ryan Firoved of Kirkland, Washington, is a registered sex offender, who had arranged to meet and rape his girlfriend's 9-year-old daughter. Thankfully, the brave mother was able to work with police to thwart his attempts, but the actions of this man and what could have happened to this girl are horrifying.
According to the Kirkland Reporter, Firoved, who is also married, told his girlfriend that he wanted to have sex with her daughter. He was blatant about his previous exploits, and according to police documents, he told her, “I guess you could say I am a pedophile, but at least I am not a predator. People come to me and I make it consensual."

Instead of just running and protecting her own daughter, the woman (who hasn't been identified to protect her daughter) went to police and worked with them to take the sicko down. But it wasn't easy.
She reportedly "played along," making him think that she would be willing to offer her daughter up as well. How disgusting and frightening that felt, I can't imagine. Police recorded a phone call she had with him in which she asked him if he wanted her to be there during the meeting. He said yes, and then explicitly told her what he'd like to do to the girl. After the conversation, he sent her a text that said he was "so turned on."
When the appointed time came, Fivored went to the hotel where the encounter was supposed to occur, and police were waiting for him. Of course, he denied the real reason he was there, saying instead that it was just a fantasy. He told them, "It is made up, sick, and a fantasy, but at the end of the day I never touched anyone."
Sick is a ridiculously gross understatement.
He's currently being held on $300,000 bond and will be arraigned on July 19. Hopefully with his prior record (he was convicted in 1999 of child rape) as well as the evidence this brave woman helped police gather, he'll be locked away and never see the light of day or be able to harm another child again.

It isn't very often these stories have a happy ending. Good for this Mom!
Before I started dating my now ex husband, I not only did three searches on his name, I met at least five people who knew him. Before he met my son, I met his mom, too.
I would have done that and so much more. And I would have been sickened if MY BOYFRIEND was the freak who was in question for doing this. This is why Im so glad Im with my children's father. And should anything ever happen to him i will be single til they are grown cause of this kind of thing roght here. There are very few Men who ar einterested in a woman w children for any other reason except hes after her kids. Not saying they all are but it's something every mother has to worry about.
he's not a predator?! are you freaking kidding me?! He's a low life predator ! I have to give a big thumbs up, kudos and several high fives to the mom! I would have first wanted to kill him IF it was me, then I would have thrown up after hearing what he wanted to do to my child! SHe did the right thing getting him off the streets! How in the world could someone marry someone like that?! Did his wife even know what a low life she married?! He needs to be buried under the prison! Or locked away like " man in the iron mask" ! My heat goes out to the mother of that little girl.
i personally do background checks on everyone from nieghbors to techers and everything in between. i was a victim of sexual abuse for 15 years by 3 different men who strangely enough didnt know each other was doing the same thing i learned at a young age if i cant trust family i cant trust anyone. however unfortunatly there are factors like false names and "secret lives" or even worse a sicko who hasn't been caught yet you you go on thinking everything is fine when it's not. this mom is lucky or i should say her daughter is lucky that this perv. actually told her what he wanted to do instead of doing it while she was away and really screwing up this girls life. my daughter is 4 and she knows well that if anyone touches her she is telling us no matter what. she actually told our nieghbor around his dinner table "nobody is allowed to touch my "p"." at first i was like oh my god i hope they dont think i coached her to say that to them but then at the same time i felt relieved, what i am teaching her is actually sticking and that made me happy. anywho good job for this mom for having such a strong stomach because i would have killed the sick bastard. sex offenders are treated too lightly for the crimes they commit.
Any mother on here is going to LOUDLY proclaim she would do the same thing...if not more. My question is....the guy was married..with a previous record....and she had NO idea??? It blows my mind that we have to be so crazily careful these days...but the truth is we do. When I met my now husband of 8 years I required months before my children were even brought in....AND a FULL background check done by CPS (yep, they do that). He never hesitated and later commended me for the careful way I approached the relationship with my husband. Be careful ladies....alot of Prince Charmings' were once frogs!
