Cruel Kids Make Elderly School Bus Monitor Cry Because She's 'Fat' (VIDEO)

by Jacqueline Burt on June 20, 2012 at 12:47 PM

bus monitorFull disclosure: This video of kids harassing an elderly school bus monitor is so disturbing, I couldn't even watch the whole thing. It takes a lot -- a LOT -- for me to say this, considering the bullies on the bus don't look any older than 11 or 12, but somebody needs to beat some sense into those kids. Because they're horrible, malicious creatures who deserve to experience physical pain for the horrible, malicious things they said to this poor old woman.

For a full 10 minutes they taunt the bus monitor for being "fat" and "disgusting." They curse and swear, ripping apart every aspect of the woman's appearance: "Look at those ugly-a** ears. You can see the sweat dripping down her face." They're relentless, even after the woman starts crying. What the hell is wrong with these kids?!

And I hate to be obvious with my next question, but what the hell is wrong with their parents?! What these kids did to this woman goes beyond "misbehaving" or "not respecting elders." This is like Lord of the Flies-level "bullying," for lack of a better word. It's like these kids are possessed or, perhaps more accurately, like they have no soul at all. I don't understand how it ever entered into their heads to be so incredibly mean to another human being (who, as far as we can tell, was just sitting there minding her own business)? If either one of my kids ever did something like this, I don't think I'd ever sleep again -- just lie awake at night for the rest of my life wondering what I did wrong.

I am truly at a loss here. Disgusted, confused, and just ... sad.

See how much of this video you can bear to watch:

Why do you think these kids were so cruel to the bus monitor?

This is what happens when parent's don't discipline their children.  they have no respect for anyone, much less the adults.  As parents, it is up to us to teach our kids to have respect for themselves and others.  These kids sicken me, and their parents should be ashamed  that they have raised such monsters.  And they are monsters for bullying an elderly woman.  If I EVER heard of my girls doing anything like this, there would be a written and public apology to the woman, and they would be on lockdown at home.

I am in shock...I couldn't watch the video in its entirety, "disturbing" is an understatement...these cannot possibly be "normal" kids from good homes...and I agree, even as a mother, these kids deserve an ass-beating...I wonder how old her grandkids are? Hmmm

I couldn't get through two minutes of this. I just want to hug this poor lady. If I ever caught my son thinking about doing something like this, he would be in so much trouble that he would wish for a trip to juvie. These kids need to be suspended and bus privileges revoked. Maybe if the parents have to actually take their kids to school they will have time to teach them that this is in no way acceptable.

I couldn't bring myself to watch the video. Just reading about it makes my stomach turn. Those kids deserve physical punishment. This is one of those times they're parents must be failures.

I googled it and couldn't get an answer. Is anything going to happen to the sick kids?

This is one of the times I am glad to live in a small southern town. This would not happen where I live. In fact, I vividly remember a boy talking back to a teacher at my high school and other boys in the class punched him in the face and told him "your parents should teach you to respect adults, especially women". If my kids were involved in this, they would be too scared to come home.

I can only imagine my grandma in this video. How heartbroken I would be to learn that little creeps like this were taunting her. The rage I would feel. I can't help but wonder, now that this video is viral, if the school administration will act? Probably not bc these little scumbags are someone's precious little snowflake. Whatever... eventually karma will come and bite these kids and hopefully their absent parents on the ass.

Holy crap. This breaks my heart. I just want to hug that sweet woman. Not only are parents not teaching their kids properly, they clearly aren't developing any empathy on their own. I would never harass someone to the point they were crying (or at all.) I would feel like the biggest piece of sh!t if I did this to someone.

Stephanie, the school district authorities are at least claiming that there will be disciplinary action once the students are identified:

I couldn't watch it. The woman bears a striking resemblance to my deceased gma. I never treated my elders disrespectfully, and knowing what this woman looks like, and imagining her crying... I want to take those little bastards over my knee and whoop them with my belt!
