As the first semester of school dwindles down, is there a special somebody in your house making top grades? If so, shower her with positive attention--yep, go ahead and get the "My Kid is on The Honor Roll" bumper sticker; experts agree that a key factor in keeping your kids on the honor roll is acknowledgement.

You can even take it one step further by joining the National Honor Roll, where middle school and high school students are given "the recognition they deserve." For free, your child's name and achievements will appear in the semi-annual National Honor Roll Commemorative Edition.(Something like this does wonders on college apps!) The simple motto at this prestigious organization is that "positive reinforcement inspires good students to strive even harder and attain even more."
Have you ever had a kid on the Honor Roll?

My son gets honor roll all the time. i am so very proud of him.
Mine got 3.0 on his 1st middle school report card I 'm so proud of him. I got him a cool Ripley's book that he was wanting (he likes facts, figures, and statistics!!!) This is especially important since he started life out at 1 1/2 # 27 weeks gestation and has significant vision challenges. He is competitive in his classroom, His work is not altered, he is in a mainstream class with NO resource!!!
My 11 year od came with a report card with all A's and excellent in social skills. I am so proud!!
My son is in the 4th Grade and he is always on the Honor Roll also, we are very proud of him!
