If you are a big reader, but even if you're not, I think I've found the perfect book (via Cafe Michelle L) to move and inspire you. Schuyler's Monster: A Father's Journey with his Wordless Daughter by Robert Rummel-Hudson is the kind of read that instantly reminds you about the importance of fathers and male figures in our girls' lives.
Although there is generally an emphasis on the father-son connection in society, with this book we remember the gentle, caring nature of good fathers, and how when faced with a medical and emotional mystery, the best of them will step up to the plate.
Check out the Entertainment Buzz for much more on this book (maybe an X-mas gift for hubby?) and for a link to an interview with the author.
