Today, Amanda Soule of the blog SouleMama shares with us an ordinary extraordinary autumn day at home. Hers is the final installment in our "On This Fall Day" blogger series.
Amanda is the last of 10 bloggers who shared a single fall day in photos + words here on The Stir, in order to inspire us with small, beautiful glimpses of the fun activities their families are enjoying this autumn.
Amanda and her family spend this beautiful fall day around their home in Maine, doing a little of this and a little of that:
On this fall day, just like any other, but not like any other at all ...
we fed the animals, chopped wood for the coming long and cold winter, made pumpkin pies to eat and save, raked more of the fallen leaves, wore halloween costumes all day long just because, and gathered around the fire with friends till the flames went out and all were ready for rest.
It was a lovely fall day.
What a lovely fall day, indeed, Amanda. Thanks so much for sharing it here with us.
Special thanks to all our "On This Fall Day" series participants. If you missed our previous blogger features, go to: "On This Fall Day" for the full list.
