Marie LeBaron of the blog Make and Takes shares a wonderful walk in nature today, as part of our "On This Fall Day" series.

Several bloggers are sharing a single fall day in photos + words here on The Stir. Follow along with our series to catch small, beautiful glimpses of the fun autumn activities other families are enjoying around the country and beyond.

On this fall day, Marie and her family takes a scenic drive outside Provo, Utah that ends in a beautiful nature walk in the Uinta National Forest:

Fall is my favorite season. The weather is a little cooler, the colors are so bright, and there's just a fun feeling in the air with a few holidays approaching.

Our family loves to take Sunday drives. We're spoiled in Utah to be surrounded by so many canyons. There is a great canyon loop that we drive through just 20 minutes from our house, and fall is the perfect time to head up. Here are a few pictures we took as we stopped to collect leaves, climb rocks, and see the river!

Thanks for letting me share our favorite fall activity!
