It's been a big week for Demi Lovato.
First, Disney released the DVD (and Blu-Ray) version of her Disney Channel hit Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, and Lovato earned more buzz than co-stars the Jonas Brothers, exciting fans with an extra scene featuring the teen star belting one out.
Then the 18-year-old up and quit Twitter.
Said one of her final tweets:
"About to say goodbye to twitter... I love my fans so much but the access that the other people have is uncomfortable to me."
Quitting the micro-blogging site didn't hurt Miley, and Lovato may have just made the smartest move of her young life so far -- getting out of the spotlight.
While Miley is still getting hammered for her decisions in public, the success of movies like Camp Rock 2 have proven little girls still love their Lovato. More importantly, so do their mamas.
Rumor has it the huge showing of Camp Rock 2 on TV coupled with DVD sales could pave the way for a Camp Rock 3.
Lovato doesn't need Twitter for that. She just needs her voice.
