A fight between two moms, and possibly others, interrupted a kindergarten graduation in Victorville, CA last week, and two moms were arrested.
Nice, moms, real nice.
The two moms who were later arrested -- Marina Vargas, 29, of Hesperia and Queiona Burt, 31, of Victorville -- allegedly got into a brawl during the kindergarten graduation at Puesta Del Sol Elementary School in San Bernardino County.
The fight ended up in a nearby field, but the women took off before police arrived. The cause of the fight was still being investigated. The two adults were later arrested, based on anonymous tips phoned into the sheriff's department.
As a consequence, no parents were allowed to attend the sixth grade graduation the next day.
Could you imagine if your mom got into a big scrap at your kindergarten graduation, let alone with another mom? How embarrassing.

how sad. i aqgree with one of the comments above that said if they told me i could not attend my kids graduation because of another parents actions, my child would not be attending neither. they need to grow up. and the school shouldnt take the actions of two ppl out on everyone else. now if this happens every single graduation then maybe the school should look into what they are doing wrong. but if this is the first time it has happened, then they should have done what they did without punishing ppl who had nothing to do with it.
as for those 2 women, grow up. thats an embarrasment to your children and now your children have to live with possibly being teased by other kids because of your actions. GROW UP AND SET A GOOD EXAMPLE FOR YOUR CHILDREN!!! im embarrassed for those 2 women.
Thats not really them in the photo is it? Because one guy is holding a drink, and their are bottles on the table behind him, and the two ladies are each wearing a boxing glove. Looks like it was taken in a bar.
I understand the school being upset over what happened, but to punish the sixth grade children and their parents was wrong. I never agreed with mass punishment. No one in the sixth grade had anything to do with what happened at the kindergarten graduation. I feel bad for those who were punished for something someone else did.
Has anyone stopped to look at this picture? Each woman is wearing a boxing glove on one hand, the guy with the overalls has a drink in his hand and the table behind him is full of beer. Either this was the strangest Kindergarten graduation in the history of the universe or the picture (and maybe the story) is a complete fake.
I'm going with the latter.

Wow. Just, wow. I have met some rather petty parents in the 5 years my son has been in school, but never anyone that would stoop as low as to get into a fight like that. Real classy.
I can surely believe this, That area of San Bernardino county is going so ghetto so fast! It's sad to say that there are many people moving to the area because of the low cost housing and in return, many are the dissrespectful types. I can't believe this story actually made the national headlines! It seems like Victorville and nearby Hesperia cities are always in the local papers with news about gang and drug busts, child neglect, abuse, and domestic disturbances.
I am pretty sure the picture is not of the actual incident, it's just being used to show the silliness of the situation.
