"The Myth of the American Sleepover"

Based on the preview, The Myth of the American Sleepover looks like a film about teens that feels real in that magical and scary coming-of-age way. I'm a sucker for movies like that, and what a nice alternative to many other (often brain-dead) teen movies.

The Myth of the American Sleepover premiered in the US in March at the SXSW Film Festival and Conference, where it received a special jury prize for Best Ensemble Cast, and is having its world premiere at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival in the International Critics' Week section, the first American film in five years to be selected for this honor.
