Nice Animated Film by a 6-Year-Old

This little video story with drawings and narration by a 6-year-old girl makes me happy. What a keepsake!

The Three Girls is a stop-motion animated movie, found via Neatorama, written and illustrated by Laura Seymou, 6, and animated by Angela Sheehan, her adult sister.

What a great way to motivate small artists and storytellers. I love the idea of putting kids art together in such an inspiring, keepsakey way.

I just love the artistry of the young girl. The illustration of Laura is very clear and brief. I don’t know if the kids of Detroit Public Schools can also make this one. But then, that is why there is a school who will further develop our talents and skills whether it’s academically or non-academic. I do believe that school is the training ground for us to reach our goals and dreams in life. Hopefully, more kid artist like Laura will contribute their wondrous talents like this – good drawer and great storyteller.
