Friends Due 4 Weeks Apart Show Pregnancy Looks So Different on Every Woman (PHOTO)

Fitness trainer Chontel Duncan shares touching photo about embracing pregnancy body

Everyone is different. In fact, no two bodies are exactly the same -- including pregnant women. Hoping to make folks chillax with their harsh "mom bod" judgment is Chontel Duncan. The Australian fitness trainer's baby belly comparison photo preaches the message of loving all of who you are, no matter your size or shape.

At first glance, you might see two pregnant women pressing their bellies together. They're roughly four weeks apart; Chontel is tall and barely has a bump, while her bestie Nat is shorter and definitely showing. (Note: This photo was taken during their second trimester.)

But, dear friends, this isn't just some comparison photo for the heck of it. Chontel has a point she wants people to understand.

I was surprised with a cute visit today from a friend Nat who is also expecting ð Just being able to see someone in the flesh, rub her tummy, hear how incredible her journey has been so far, how healthy baby is & all the fun talk about kicks, food, names etc was beautiful. This is Nat's 3rd pregnancy so she had a lot of great advice to share âºï¸ï¿½ It's very clear in this photo just how tall I am, I mean my chin sits above Nat's head lol We worked out that we are 4 weeks apart, so our little ones will be the same age, same grade at school and potential best buds hehehehe..... Nat's due start of March & I'm due end of March. Each women carries different and this most certainly doesn't mean one is doing something wrong or not healthy etc. We both have healthy growing babies & we both have had incredible pregnancies so far, feeling amazing & full of energy. #21.5weeks #expecting #march2016 #pregnant #love #happiness #Babyduncan

It doesn't matter what you look like -- all pregnancies will differ, and that's okay.

There are so many points Chontel brings up in her Instagram post that are worth a mention. For starters, this is the fitness trainer's first baby. Any mother of multiples knows how your body can and often will change with every child you have. It's almost like after your first, you pee on the stick, and your insides are like, "Yup, baby," before your tummy immediately pokes out. (I've experienced that.)

I love what Chontel says:

Some women show more than others. Some women are taller and can mask their weight. Some women have crazy killer abs, so it takes a little longer before you notice a pregnancy.

Honestly, who cares?

It's all beautiful, and you want to know why?

Because pregnancy is a beautiful thing.

Ladies have far more important things to worry about than whether or not we fit some mold of the ideal woman. The bottom line is this: Love your journey, and embrace who you are.

You're special, and are experiencing such a special time in your life. Comparisons are useless. Don't allow yourself to be robbed of the joys of being pregnant.

(Minus that whole nausea thing.)
