Whether you screamed for your family's help, called members of your herd barbarians for using a dish towel instead of a hand towel, or spun around in circles because your circuit board was overloaded, you, my friend, are not alone.

Granted, some of the moments in this video are overdramatized, but sadly, I can relate (I'm sure my husband is somewhere nodding his head in agreement. Babe, if you're reading this: Hush up!).

It's not that moms want to be some kooky person who has a meltdown before wiping the sweat from her brow to invite visitors in with a smile. In an ideal world, things would flow much more easily, without stress and frustration.

Watching this video made me laugh and take a pause to reflect on how I act. In efforts to try to provide the best entertaining experience, it's very easy to go through unnecessary hell to get there. Yeah, I'll admit it: I need to refill my "chillax pills" from time to time. I'm still a work in progress, but I know how to laugh at myself, and try to become the best version of me that's possible.

Pillows don't always need fluffing -- and our homes mustn't always look like Disney on Ice (that was kinda funny).

Message received, Chris. I'll put down the vacuum cleaner.
