Adult Having Tantrums Will Make You Appreciate Your Toddler (VIDEO)

adult tantrum

Ready to laugh your butt off? That's exactly what will happen after you see this genius video from BuzzFeed, which is simply titled, "What if Adults Had Tantrums Like Toddlers?"

It might sound like kind of a funny question, you know, since adults are mature and know how to handle disappointment and rage like perfectly civilized people.

But after seeing a grown woman having toddler-style tantrums over all of the crap that typically happens to adults on a daily basis -- it will give you a brand new appreciation for how your poor tot feels when things aren't going his/her way.

Don't take any sips of your beverage before watching this.

Um, are you dying? I know this video was made purely for entertainment purposes, but man -- doesn't it make you understand why your child lashes out in this manner?

I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to break down and cry over traffic, bills, suddenly losing an entire post I'd been working on for an hour because of a technical glitch, the list goes on.

And if we feel that way as adults -- no wonder our toddlers have nothing short of complete meltdowns when they can't find their favorite stuffed animal, don't want to eat their peas, or simply have no interest or tolerance for being strapped into a car seat against their will. Honestly, can you really blame them for being pissed? Of course they are. And they simply have no other means of expressing their anger and discontent than by acting like miniature monsters -- so let's cut 'em some slack already.

Yeah, yeah, I know that's easier said than done, especially when they've been wailing incessantly for what seems like a lifetime. But just take a deep breath and put yourself in their shoes before you start getting all flustered.

And if that doesn't help take the edge off, oh hell -- just lay down on the floor and kick and scream with them. If nothing else, maybe it will immediately turn their cries into bouts of laughter over how silly you look.

How do you usually handle toddler tantrums?
