5 Annoying Things Parents Do on Black Friday

Annoying Things Parents do on Black FridayI pretty much do whatever I can to avoid shopping on Black Friday. Because as much as I love a good deal, I like getting sleep a whole lot more; I've yet to find anything worth standing in line for at 2am.

But really, I just can't stand being around crowds of crazed Black Friday shoppers, and worse the parents, who I've seen do some ridiculous things in order to get a toy or gadget on sale.

So if you're planning on hitting the stores at o'dark thirty this Friday, please don't do these 5 things.

1. Bring the kids
I know that some people aren't able to find a babysitter or don't have friends, spouses or family to watch their kids. But guess what, that means you should probably stay home. I don't think it's fair to your small child to be standing in line in the cold when they should be sleeping.

2. Drive strollers like they're drunk
Stores are already ridiculously crowded and that's made about 100 times worse when parents are driving their strollers through the store. If you can't just watch where you're going, try leaving your stroller parked outside the store or even in your car. My ankles thank you.

3. Fight over toys
I cannot tell you how many times I've seen parents fighting over a toy. A TOY! And worse, in front of their kids. If your kid wants the toy that badly, try ordering it online or going to another store. But don't embarrass yourself in public just to get your hands on something your kid asked Santa for because it'll save you $20.

4. Yell at your kids
I've been in several uncomfortable situations where I've seen parents full-on yelling at their kids when it's clear that the kids are tired, hungry, bored, or a combination of all three. How do you expect your kids to act after you've dragged them out of the house in the wee hours of the morning and force them to wait in line with you? I'd throw a tantrum too.

5. Swear
I've heard parents spout off a few choice words to other shoppers on Black Friday, even in front of their kids. And while I'm the first to admit that I don't always use the best language, I most certainly do not call people names, especially when my kids are around.

What do you hate about Black Friday?
