'Teen Mom' Kailyn Lowry Won't Regret Taking This Serious Relationship Risk

infinity tattoos kailyn lowry javi marroquinTeen Mom Kailyn Lowry isn't one to hold back and stay mum about something near and dear to her heart (as evidenced by how loud and proud she was about gay marriage recently!). So it's really no surprise she was broadcasting the good news via Twitter that she and her boyfriend Javi Marroquin recently got matching ink.

Specifically, they're both sporting matching infinity sign tattoos, apparently because, as Javi tweeted, the two "always say 'I love you to infinity and beyond.'" Awwww. How totally sweet! But at the same time, these two are so young! Won't they be smacking themselves on the forehead for this in a few years (if not a few months)?!

lea michele tattoosHow many tattoos would you say Lea Michele has. One? Two? Five? The Glee star went on David Letterman last night in a cleavage-happy dress and disclosed to a drooling Dave that she's got way more than just five. Lea says that tattoos are kind of like her family pastime; instead of hiding eggs on Easter, they head to the tattoo shop to all get inked. A family that tats together, stays together maybe?

So. Just how many permanent little marks does Lea have in total?

Extreme Beauty: 5 Women Who Took Looking Good Too Far (PHOTOS)

tanning mom patricia krentcilPatricia Krenctil, the "Tanning Mom," who is accused of taking her 5-year-old daughter into the tanning booth with her, has become an object of public ridicule for her "extreme tan." Krentcil obviously thinks she looks good, but most people have dubbed her a "freak."

This isn't the first time a woman has done something in the name of beauty (sometimes with risk to her health), that made America turn ugly on her. There are human Barbies, human vampires, and lots of plastic surgery. But if these women truly feel beautiful -- who are we to judge? It's just a shame that they weren't happy with their looks in the first place -- as they were all pretty darn, well, pretty.

Take a look at these extreme beauties, below.

Kailyn Lowry Has Every Right to Lash Out About Her Lip Ring

Kailyn LowryIt's no big secret that MTV's Teen Mom stars are fans of body piercings and tattoos. Between Maci Bookout's new ink and the beginnings of Kailyn Lowry's back tattoo in honor of her son Isaac, I can't keep up lately!

While Lowry may be stoked about her back ink, lately she's feeling not-so-fond of her lip ring. The MTV star spoke out on Twitter Friday, saying that "it's been like 4 years [and] I'm kinda over it." After getting a heavy slew of backlash about being a mom with a lip ring from her followers about her lip ring being "appropriate," the mom wrote back, "I don't care how many tattoos & piercings someone has. That DOES NOT determine what kind of parent he/she is."

I may not be a mom, but I'm with Kailyn on this one. The tattoos and the piercings you have are YOUR business and shouldn't affect anyone else.

Snow White

Since I know that more than a few of you out there loves you some body art, I couldn't resist showing you this photo.

My family went to Walt Disney World several weeks ago and at Magic Kingdom, we spotted Snow White.

But it appeared that Disney's oldest princess had gotten a new look in order to stay current with the times.

Check out that massive tat on her back!

Sure it's impressive from a distance, but wait 'til you see it up close ...

Charlize Theron's Tattoo Is Beautifully Distracting on 'Vogue' Cover

charlize theronWe've seen Charlize Theron at her absolute physical worst. Remember Monster? She was downright hideous in that flick, as she was supposed to be. But it's hard to imagine anyone calling her less than stunning when she's just being herself. The South African beauty is on the May cover of British Vogue and some people are saying that a certain element of her appearance ruins the photo. That somehow, she's less gorgeous or desirable because of a mark just above her right ankle.

That mark, as it were, is a tattoo.

'DWTS' Melissa Gilbert's Tattoos Are Tamer Than They Seem (VIDEO)

melissa gilbertThe new season of Dancing With the Stars is shaping up to be way more entertaining than anyone originally thought, and ABC has the cast members to thank for that! There really are some great dancers this season, and it's been fun to see people who are a blast from the past -- especially Melissa Gilbert.

I grew up watching Little House on the Prairie, and to say I was obsessed with the show as a little girl is a total understatement. Laura Ingalls was so adorable and wholesome, which is why it was kind of shocking to see Melissa step out onto the dance floor sporting a whole host (seven to be exact) of tattoos! She's definitely come a long way from Walnut Grove, but having those tattoos actually shows that she's just as sweet and lovable as her iconic character was.

'Glee' Star Lea Michele Is No Rachel Berry & She Has the Tats to Prove It

Posted by Jeanne Sager
on Mar 8, 2012 at 5:04 PM

Lea MicheleEver since she became a bona fide star, it seems like Lea Michele has been haunted by comparisons to Rachel Berry, the character she plays on Glee. Which wouldn't be so bad, except, well, Rachel isn't all that likeable, is she? Speaking as a Gleek, I'm going to go ahead and admit she's kind of prissy and way into herself.

But Lea seems much more fun. So I was glad to hear the actress dishing about all her body art this week to Prestige magazine. And by all her body art, I mean A LOT of body art. This does not sound like a Rachel Berry moment at all!

12 Heart Tattoos That Are Perfect for Valentine’s Day

Posted by Michele Zipp

half sleeve tattooIs there anything more romantic than someone tattooing your name on their skin? Don't answer that if you detest tattoos. I think it's terrifically adorable. And yes, it could turn out to be a terrible idea if you break up. But you could always cover it up somehow. Still, for those not willing to add the letters, I will offer an alternative. And that's a heart. A simple or ornate heart. It's the perfect idea for a Valentine's Day gift for your sweetie who loves ink.

Oh the heart tattoo ... how I love thee. So sweet, symbolizing a love so pure (yes, I'm being all sugary silly) and it can be placed just about anywhere, even amidst other tattoos. Just like this woman's half-sleeve. There's a cupcake (talk about sugar)! A rainbow! And tiny hearts and stars.

I gathered up some other super cool heart tattoo ideas so you can show them to your tattoo artist and make it your own.

5 Reasons NOT to Regret Your Embarrassing Tattoo

Posted by Sasha Brown-Worsham
on Feb 8, 2012 at 11:37 AM

I have a thing about tattoos, especially original ones that are unique to the person sporting them. The idea that a person can alter the skin they are in and make something new our of their own body is really quite incredible. I have one tattoo that I got after the age of 30 and I do not regret it for a second.

That said, many other people do. My husband and I got ours together after talking about it for years. We designed it ourselves. It's our initials split in half so that we each have a tribal design that means nothing unless we are together. Immediately after we got it on our seventh wedding anniversary, everyone asked us if we would hate it in our 80s.

My answer: Hell no. But there are those who do regret their tats. But they shouldn't. Here are 5 reasons not to regret that tattoo.
