It's really hard for me to accept the notion that swimsuit season is just around the corner. Hell, I'm still working on getting rid of those few extra holiday pounds. While I may not be ready for wet summer fun, it seems like the Kardashian gals are. Yesterday, Kim tweeted a sneak peek of her fresh out of a photo shoot wearing one of the suits from their Spring Kardashian Kollection swim line at Sears. Let me tell you something, from what I can see -- I adore it. Can you say sexy?! Kim looks dynamite.

Seriously, the suit Kim's wearing seams to have all of the basics I look for when I'm shopping for that dreaded bikini. Except honestly, I just haven't had the kahunas to buy something that bright ... well ... ever. 

Those Jersey Shore kiddos really know how to make some dollar dollar bills, y'all. Snooki and the Situation have all kinds of clothing and accessories lines (and plenty of lawsuits to go with them) and now Jenni "JWoww" Farley has launched a bikini line. Despite the fact that her Filthy Couture apparel line hasn't done that well, JWoww has carried on, this time hoping to hit the nail on the head with a collection of super-slutty swimsuits. She's sticking to what she knows -- skanky clothes and bikinis are right up JWoww's alley. Can't say she hasn't stayed true to herself. 

But this latest venture into the barely-there bikinis is a little weird. Not because they're predictably revealing, but because they involve glue to keep the suit in place.

Man, I get so darn sick and tired of NOT seeing normal, unsucked, untucked female bodies (and faces) in the Hollywood set. I swear, I start to get delusional and forget what normal bodies even look like, which is, I'm sure, part of the evil master plan started by Beverly Hills plastic surgeons.

Sure, I can look in the mirror for all the normal I could ever want. However, looking at one's own self does not always offer the same positive effects as seeing other women whose bodies are not starved or overly sculpted or creepy toned -- and yet are still considered among some of the most beautiful in the world. Women used to be allowed to reveal their "softer" side. I love when I'm reminded that we still can.

Miranda KerrIt's been just seven months since supermodel Miranda Kerr and husband Orlando Bloom welcomed their first baby Flynn into the world, but mom is already back to work. For Kerr, of course, that means walking the runway! And wearing bathing suits! And pumping breast milk behind the scenes because she's still breastfeeding! Well, check out the photo -- doesn't Kerr make all that look fabulous?

Of course, many of us know returning to work after baby and breastfeeding on the go isn't particularly easy, but Miranda Kerr looks to be doing a smash-up job.

White bikinis are wonderful for many reasons, especially if you're a white girl. That's a tanning reference and not a racial one. They used to call me "pale legs" at the town beach. But when I showed up in that white bikini from J.Crew, for the first time in my life I actually looked bronze. That white bikini is more like a grey-beige now some 15 years later, so it's time to shop for a new one and I'm in luck: The white bikini is back!

Both the Middleton sisters have been seen in white two-pieces, and in just the last day, actress Kristin Cavallari and Playboy bunny Kelly Brook were spotted in skimpy white bikinis looking amazing. Duh, like they would look any other way?

Former supermodel Janice Dickinson isn't exactly known for her modesty.

But the 56-year-old caught the eye of even the most jaded members of the paparazzi the other day when she stepped out in a teeny weeny bikini.

Happy birthday, Bikini!Whether you're a fan of the two-piece bathing suit or not, today we should all toast to the bikini -- she turns 65 today. Hooray! It was on July 5 in 1946 when daring French fashion designer Louis Reard paid Parisian exotic dancer Micheline Bernardini to wear his outrageous new bathing suit to a popular swimming pool in Paris, and the rest is history. The bikini quickly took off and became totally in vogue after WWII. Our summers at the beach haven't been the same since.

I salute Reard's invention. A tan stomach and ease using the bathroom during a beach or pool visit are priceless summertime commodities.
