Eco-Friendly Skin Care I Love

Just wanted to share: My favorite "green" skincare line is REN. Two very sweet British guys Robert Calcraft and Antony Buck created the line when Antony's wife was pregnant and wanted clean, non-toxic, pregnancy-safe skincare products—and couldn't find any.

What a great husband ... not to mention that his wife not only got her wish, but she's getting all these amazing products for free. But I digress.

REN products smell great, look great (gotta give points for bathroom decor)—and most importantly, they work. They're free of petrochemicals, sulfates, parabens, synthetic fragrances, synthetic colors, and other little nasties. The packaging is sleek, gorgeous, and green. The company doesn't test its products on animals, and donates a portion of its profits to campaigns that better the environment. Love that.

My favorite product is the Frankincense & Boswellia Serrata Revitalising Night Cream—the name is a mouthful, but it makes my sallow, old, tired, yucky skin glow. For real.

I'm thinking about trying the Mayday Mayday Rescue Balm, $40, because it's supposed to be good for dry skin and mine's drier than the Sahara right now.

REN products aren't cheap, but I think they're worth every hard-earned penny.

What's your favorite skincare brand?
