The other day my friend Mike told me how he has a huge crush on Tina Fey and that his girlfriend, Elizabeth, reminds him of her. Adorable! Tina Fey is a smart crush -- yes, she beautiful, but she has a lot more to offer than just her looks.
The 39 year-old mom to 4 year-old Alice is the covergirl of the November issue of Harper's Bazaar looking all windblown and pretty. She's wearing a one-shoulder dress and a devious smirk.
Her interview in the mag doesn't disappoint.
Tina admits she works a lot. She's quoted in the issue as saying her day goes like this: "Work, come home, play, kid bounce, work again, go to bed."
"Sometimes I'll be telling my husband [composer Jeff Richmond], 'I think I'm cracking up," she said. "Sometimes you just need a minute to say, 'I think I'm cracking' and just acknowledge it. Last weekend, [Alice] started chanting, 'Daddy is my mom! Daddy is my mom!'"
Bazaar also talks to her about vanity. They mention the scar on her face from an attack when she was five, but the comedian won't be getting any Botox. "You can point any kind of laser at my face, but I don't think Botox is for me. I think it is bad," she said. "People who have too much, they look like their faces are full of candles -- a shiny, shiny face."
I'm just so excited there is a 39 year-old mom on the cover of a fashion magazine! Aren't you? Are you a fan of Tina Fey?
