Ordinarily, I'm not a fan of the leather look, but for some reason I'm coveting a short faux leather jacket for fall. I love this look—pairing the "tough girl" Urban Outfitters Moto Jacket ($98) with a sweet little floral dress.
Sometimes faux leather can look cheap, but if you are choosy, some faux alternatives can really work. Here are a couple more jackets I've got my eye on: ModCloth's Kickstart My Heart Jacket (below left, $64.99)—love the chocolate brown color! And, Delia's Kieran Bomber (below right, $63.50) for a little rocker edge.

Love love love this look! I have a vintage 70s leather moto jacket I bought and adore. Too bad it isn't fitting right now since I'm pregnant, but it's a wardrobe staple.
I agree with you. I love this look. I haven't seen this jacket before, but I just purchased one from B.B. Dakota and put it on today for the first time. Amazing! I think everyone needs and short FAUX leather number. Enjoy yours!
My mom gave me a leather jacket years ago and I still love it.
there is a "moto jacket" thats been in all the target ads in my elle and so on.. but I cant find it online or in store, I was bummed! It looks just like the one you posted but only 29.99
OOH- I found it... it comes in grey and black ant its 29.99. but the reviews arent great, someone said it sounds plastic. Thats a bummer. I'll have to check my store again and see if its finally in, based on the review I probably wouldnt buy it online..
LuminousMom, I saw that one, too! I considered posting it with the others, but the reviews I read were bad also--said it looked wrinkled...still it was pretty cute. I think I'd have to look at it in the store.
