That's right. Twilight series author Stephenie Meyer gets a clothing line. Don't worry, this doesn't mean that you'll have to dress like a vampire anytime soon — although those Cullens do dress pretty beautifully. However, as you can see, the style of this new line is a little more casual than the Cullen's style.
Turns out, Stephenie Meyer, also the author of the newer novel The Host, has teamed up with Hobo Skate Company to produce a line of The Host T-shirts and skateboards. A portion of the T-shirt and skateboard sales will go to the Hobo Foundation, which helps homeless families.
According to Hobo co-founder Chad Swenson, "Stephenie has been fantastic to work with. Her extraordinary talent and imagination behind The Host gives us incredible design concepts to work with. Even with Stephenie's insane schedule with New Moon and Eclipse movie productions, she has worked with us on every detail to make sure the products are remarkable."

The Host was an interesting book with an amazing look at "peace", but not enough that I'd buy paraphernalia.
I may buy the clothes after perusing the line, but not beause of The Host. I found the book dull and hard to follow. I read about halfway into it before putting it down. I loaned it to someone else to read and I'm not worried if I don't get it back. The book just didn't grab me enough to keep me interested.
Hi, Rana!
Tam, the beginning of The Host was insanely boring. It took me three weeks to eventually get past it. Once I did get to another point, though... I couldn't put it down. Much like Twilight, her writing is immature and not exactly award-winning, BUT it's quite addictive.
BLAH.
