I look at celebrities like Angelina Jolie and Naomi Watts and wish I had flawless skin like they do.
Then I think...is it cosmetics? I did meet Michelle Williams once and without a stitch of makeup on has the most perfect skin I've ever seen. (She's gorgeous.)
Most of my friends have great skin, too. I've seen them fully done up with makeup and also without and I'll admit, I am slightly envious.
I wish I had better skin!
My friends all have different routines for caring for their face -- some use drugstore brands, other use pricey ones, yet their end result is the same. Healthy skin.
No matter what products I use, here are the things I find most helpful in getting my skin to look as good as possible. It's just sticking to the routine that can be difficult.
- Drink lots of water.
- Stop picking at my face.
- Wash face morning and night.
- Never go to bed with makeup on.
- Keep hair clean around face -- the oils on my hairline can cause pimples.
