Oh to have skin like this forever!
I took the pinch test on the back of my hand last week and learned that I appear younger than I am. Well that was a confidence boost. But looking younger isn't just about your body...it's in the face, too.
I know I've mentioned it before but my dad gave me such a great compliment once. He told my mom actually and she told me. He said that when he sees me without any makeup on I still look like his little girl. I'm in my thirties, mind you. Aww dad! That sure makes me feel good.
So how can we all keep our faces looking as youthful as possible?
- Drink lots of water. It hydrates and flushes out toxins. A clean body inside gives you clean looking skin on the outside.
- Avoid overexposure to the sun. We all know the dangers of sunburn, but even extended eye squinting can cause wrinkles and can add years to the way you look. Protect your face whenever outside, even in winter.
- Moisturize. Moisturizing is important all year long -- it protects, balances, and hydrates your skin.
- Smile more! I read somewhere once that it takes more muscle to frown than it does to smile and walking around with a sad face certainly isn't cute. So why not smile...and look younger and happier!
