My sister is a denim guru, quite literally -- she designs denim for a living, deciding on the wash of the jean, how dark, light, distressed, and a slew of other decisions that go into a pair of jeans that I never thought about.
She also wears jeans like nobody else -- she knows how to style them just so to capture many different looks.
Her current favorite way to wear jeans is rolled up, just like this model seen here from the Madewell website.
I love everything about this look -- the gingham tank, long but simple necklace, and medium wash jeans with holes, perfect for some summertime ventilation. How cute that they are rolled up to show off the sandals.
You can roll up almost any kind of jean -- unless they are super skinny at the bottom or ultra wide bell bottom.
My sister folds the jean, vertical to the leg, at the foot opening upward, then starts rolling as tight as she can up three or more inches depending on how you like it.
Cute look, isn't it? How do you wear your jeans in the summer?
