If you watched America's Next Top Model, you saw the finalists in a commerical for Cover Girl's newest lipstick, Outlast Lipstain. It looks like a marker and is supposed to last through smooches and more.

I tried it out.

I bought it in the color Plum Pout and I love it -- though the marker tip does tickle my lips when I apply.

It stays on long and the color is true to the sample. One catch: If you wear it all day without reapplying -- I'm talking over five hours -- the color on the outer portion of your lips, where a liner would go, stays on and the color in the center wears off. So it kind of looks like you have spaghetti lips -- that's what I call that lip liner only look.

So just make sure to check your lips before those five hours are up. What I love most about it is it's like a liner and lipstick in one -- you can apply with precision and the color does stay on longer than regular lipstick.

Available at for $7.49.

Have you tried Cover Girl's Outlast Lipstain yet? What is your favorite long-lasting lipstick?

I have this lipstain (sorry cant remember the color) but while it looks great the first 3 minutes, by the 5th minute, its gone. I have better luck with a tinted chapstick.
