Plus Size Women Can Wear Form Fitting Clothes

I've loved Queen Latifah since she sang the girl power anthem Ladies First with Monie Love. Ooooh ladies first, ladies first. That was back in the late 80s and now Queen rocks Hollywood as well as hip hop. She was incredible in Chicago.

And how can we overlook her sometimes sassy, sometimes sophisticated style?

She's a plus sized woman who isn't afraid to take risks. Here she is at the American Idol finale in a form fitting one-shoulder jumpsuit. Hello gorgeous! She's proof that women of many sizes can wear curve-hugging clothes. It's all about the confidence, isn't it?

I think while she looks good in this, not every plus sized woman can wear form fitting.

I agree with jennmarie77. It sounds strange but I think that some plus size women look great in form fitting clothes and shorts too. Others, just can't do it.

Queen Latifah however, looks great! Maybe it is attitude? Who knows. She looks great!

I think plus sized woman look BETTER in form fitting clothes. I did when I was bigger. Loose, billowy stuff just makes you look even bigger.

She looks AMAZING! Any plus size woman can look good in some Spanx (I even own a pair) and form fitting clothing. It's all about being confident and finding clothing that highlights strong suits.

Throw on TLC's "What Not to Wear" and learn something ladies!!!

I voted other. While I do like the jumpsuit she's wearing and I love her, I can't see myself wearing what she is wearing. I don't think I could pull off the jumpsuit thing well at all. Not even with the appropriate undergarments that help control the bulges and so on.

She looks wonderful in anything she wears, however, I would have to have something actually made for me to make it look good. I am not to good at putting things together.

Not every woman PERIOD can get away with form-fitting clothing. It has nothing to do with your size, and everything to do with whether or not you're well-shaped.

(i.e. you can be a size 6 and be lumpy and look BAD in tight clothes, or a size 20 with nothing but smooth curves and look great.)

I think if the bottom half of her outfit was a long, flowing dress instead of the stretchy pants, she would look fantastic. I just don't care for the tight-fitting pants on her. She has a great bustline and I think she should rock that. Even if she had some looser fitting pants, those would look okay too. Like some flaired leg, black pinstriped pants with silver pinstripes, that would look awesome with her heels. Just not crazy about this.

I think she looks great and I agree with some previous posters -- throw on What Not to Wear!! Size is just a number -- find what fits YOU and rock it.

i have seen Queen in several form fitting items and she looks great... however i think this outfit is YUCK... and i dont think it would matter how skinny or plump you are it would still be yuck
