Yoko Ono has designed a series of "Imagine Peace" t-shirts for H&M to benefit Fashion Against AIDS. The collection—for both men and women—will go on sale May 28 in H&M's youth DIVIDED department and 25 percent of all sales will be donated to youth HIV/AIDS awareness projects. Other celebrities collaborating on the collection include Katy Perry and Cyndi Lauper.
Some of the other messages on the t-shirts (besides "Imagine Peace by Yoko Ono) are pretty intense and in-your-face, as you can see from the list below:
Life is Too Short - Have Sex Be Safe (by Estelle)
Girls Just Wanna to Have Safe Sex (by Cyndi Lauper)
It's What's On the Outside That Counts (by Katy Perry)
Protection Is Power (by Roison Murphy)
I'm all for supporting fantastic causes, but I'm not always comfortable using my wardrobe to promote them. On the other hand, it's the great way to get the word out about an important issue.
What do you think? Would you wear something like this?
