Celebrities break fashion rules and get away with it all the time. They wear white after Labor Day and mix gold and silver jewelry -- and you can, too.

There are even more so-called fashion don'ts that can be fashion dos.

Look at Reese Witherspoon. Here she is mixing clashing colors -- fuschia and red. This dress looks great with the red shoes and because it has a simple silhouette.
