My mom is a fashionista. Seriously. Her closet is filled with the most adorable clothes -- I wish I could fit into them, but she's a size 2.
In the past, I've bought her clothes, earrings, necklaces, framed photos, even baked her cookies for Mother's Day. It's hard...I always want to get her the most perfect gift, but that gift can never really express what she means to me.
This year, I'd like to treat her to a spa day with my sister. After we can have a nice lunch together and just hang out and talk.

I want a mother ring with my son birthstone
I have not decided but we did a spa day for my Mom once. It was great. I have three sisters and we called her boss and got her the day off on the Friday before Mother's Day. I called my Mom very early in the morning and told her that I was having a tooth ache and my boyfriend refused to take me and I could not drive. She even thought I was crying (I was actually laughing because my sister's were in the background commenting on my acting ability). All four of us then showed up at her door and kidnapped her and took her to the salon for a day of pampering. She was so sweet. She kept saying "I feel like a woman" . I don't think we haved topped Mother's Day since!

Anything would be great, but money is tight, so homemade stuff will work just fine!
I already got my present, my sweet husband ordered some vintage recycled wire art owls for me -- one is just a wall art hanging, the other is to hold my keys when I come in the door!
good question. i think i'd want a day at the spa or a romantic night out with the hubby kid free. Or do somethign unique like hot air ballooning or parasailing.
