Being a green mama is not just good for you and your body, but for your kids, too. That all-natural body lotion and shampoo is good for the whole family. 

I tested a few different items and have the scoop on some of my new favorite eco-friendly products for your skin, hair, nails, and body.

For Your Hair: Organics Hair Care by Desert Essence ($8.99) comes in Fragrance Free, Italian Red Grape, and Red Raspberry, so there is something for everyone. This line is 100 percent vegan and wheat and gluten free, rich in antioxidants and gives your hair all it needs...just the good stuff.

For Your Skin: Eden Organic Skincare line's Cucumber Cleansing Milk ($25) smells good enough to eat and it's so soothing. Toxin-free and all organic, this face wash is a milky blend of cucumber and is gentle, but cleans well. They also have masques, lotions, and peels with real fruit to feed your skin.

For Your Nails: You won't have to worry when you do at home mom and daughter manicures when you use Priti Nails ($12 a bottle) -- great for

moms-to-be as well! There are a range of shades designed specifically for kids, too -- called Priti Princess ($8 each). This non-toxic polish doesn't contain toluene, DBP, formaldehyde, or any petroleum ingredients. And yes, the color lasts long -- even on busy hands!

For Your Body: Green by Nature makes my new favorite lip polish, but they also make body butter, lotion, and wash (prices start at $8.99). The 100 percent paraben, sulfate, and DEA free products smell yummy, too. Almond Cocoa, Mint Green Tea, and Banana Shea -- delish. I'm obsessed with the Banana Shea right now.
