Being a green mama is not just good for you and your body, but for your kids, too. That all-natural body lotion and shampoo is good for the whole family.
I tested a few different items and have the scoop on some of my new favorite eco-friendly products for your skin, hair, nails, and body.
For Your Hair: Organics Hair Care by Desert Essence ($8.99) comes in Fragrance Free, Italian Red Grape, and Red Raspberry, so there is something for everyone. This line is 100 percent vegan and wheat and gluten free, rich in antioxidants and gives your hair all it needs...just the good stuff.

For Your Body: Green by Nature makes my new favorite lip polish, but they also make body butter, lotion, and wash (prices start at $8.99). The 100 percent paraben, sulfate, and DEA free products smell yummy, too. Almond Cocoa, Mint Green Tea, and Banana Shea -- delish. I'm obsessed with the Banana Shea right now.

SpaRitual makes great vegan, eco friendly nail polish, and I just started my Origins skin care routine. My skin feels like velvet made out of silk. It's great.
That's great to know about the Priti nail polish -- I usually eschew polish, but if it's non-toxic I may have to get some.
I love the Mama Bee Nourishing Body Baby Oil, its all natural for my baby.

A great new company makes going green simple by creating a one stop shop for eco-friendly items and ensures that their products truly are eco-friendly by putting the companies through a six-step evaluation process. WWW.ONLYGREENLIFE.COM
I am so glad I found this and hope it will help you on your journey towards wellness!
Many of us know that we need to get the toxic cleaning chemicals out our homes, but I for one did not realize all the toxins in the every day bath and body products we all use. Even baby shampoo! It's downright scary. We now get all our cleaning, laundry, bath and body (shampoos, lotions, soaps, etc), dental, over the counter prescription, make up and skin care from an eco-friendly company. What a HUGE difference it has made in our health...no more allergy and asthma prescriptions, no more eczema, better sleeping, etc. I'd be glad to help you set up your account to shop for these amazingly safe, affordable and high quality products and have them delivered right to your front door. :) So many of the "green" products you get at the local stores are ineffective and expensive!
