My favorite Reese Witherspoon movie is Freeway. Or Election. Ooh I also loved Walk the Line. But her acting chops aside, I really like this mom of two. She seems like the girl-next-door gone Hollywood who never forgot her roots.

I'm also really digging her pastel eyeshadow as seen in this photo. It gives her eyes the perfect pop for spring.

Here's how to get the look.

InStyle magazine's Daily Beauty Flash gives us the scoop on how to wear a pretty violet pastel (or another light spring flower color). Their experts share that powder shadows in pale, light, or pastel colors can often end up looking chalky, so it's best to use a cream shadow. InStyle suggests Benefit's Creaseless Cream Shadow ($19 from Ulta) -- the color Gossip looks like a great match.

I also love the Boots line of cosmetics. Their No7 Stay Perfect Eye Color Cream in Lilac ($6.79 from Target) is a less expensive choice.

Do you wear cream eyeshadow? What do you think of the pastel colors?
