We all have our weaknesses, you know, like our very own Kyptonite. Things we just have to have. Mine are chocolate chip cookies, hands down. But when it comes to beauty, I have way too many "have to have" items. If I had to pick one that I would splurge on, it would be face wash. I love B. Kamins products, but at $34 a bottle for just the face wash (I buy the toner, moisturizer, and acne gel, too), I sometimes just get the cheap stuff found in the aisles of drug stores. But then my face doesn't look as good, so it's back to shelling out the big bucks for the good stuff.

I have not found a beauty item to splurge on yet. I have tried so many products that say they do this or that and I pay too much money for them, not working. So it is hard for me to spend money on something, wondering will this work or just cost me $40? I would love to hear what other girls have used & it worked to make it worth the money!
I love Lovely (Sarah Jessica Parker's perfume) hand lotion. I'm very happy with my drug store brands most of the time. But this lotion is worth $25-30. I buy it about once a year and use it on special occasions.
While I have toned down the spending on most beauty products the two things I will not skimp on are under eye cream and night moisturizer. I buy it from these ladies who have their own line and operate out of a brownstone in the West Village and it is the best stuff ever. $50 for the eye cream and $45 for the night cream which, by certain standards isn't even all that expensive. A trip to a department store for similar products is considerably pricier.
Anyway, nothing, no matter what the price is, compares to it.
I splurge on wrinkle/line remover/filler. I don't have that many lines/wrinkles but I don't want them either! LOL!
My mother was 87 when she passed away and hardly had any wrinkles at all. My brother and sister have inherited her virtue - thank God!

i'd have to say i splurge on eye shadow, i have not bought too many to say i have many but i would like more to choose from! as i was cleaning my closet and organizing, i did notice alot of lotions! i love stuff from "bath and body" and i bought this lotion called "lucky you" and i loooooovvvveee it!
Can't say just one thing - I believe in the better the product the better it is - so I have an expensive beauty and health habit - thank goodness my hubby accepts it!
foundation and powder for me. Finding the right coverage that works for my blemishes is a must in my book. I've ended up with mac's line. They've got the most variance in tones.
Ooooh, thanks for choosing my photo! =) Hmmm, I'd love to say I splurge on eye shadow but for the life of me, I can never get it to look right. lol But I do by the mineral makeup (no...not bare minerals as my hubby would probably keel over and die if he saw how much that was), but I buy the L'Oreal one. Works fairly decent, much better than the other stuff I was wearing. A little pricer but worth it. =)
