UPDATE: Congrats to sstepph for winning this $50 Target gift card! Her favorite DIY beauty recipe is the oatmeal face mask!
Not only are homemade beauty products good for your body because they are free of chemicals, but they are great on your wallet, too. And as many of you know, they are easy to make.
I've featured recipes for oatmeal face mask, hair dye made of tea, powdered milk face wash, chocolate facial, green tea skin toner, and many more.
Sometimes, though, we have our favorite product that we just can't live without.
On that note, want to win a $50 gift card from Target so you can get your must-haves along with items to make your favorite DIY beauty products.
To enter, tell me...
What is your favorite DIY beauty recipe?

My fav DIY beauty recipe is for my no-poo mix: baking soda with lavender. I mix, then let it sit in the jar until I need to wash. My hair and scalp feel great and hubby loves the scent.
The bag balm pedicure.... You can only do it if you don't have to be up walking around... Remove nail polish, trim nails, smooth any really rough edges..then coat your feet with Bag Balm (nasty smelling goop made to soften cow udders but works great on rough feet) then put feet in large baggie and then put WARM socks over top...leave on for at least 1/2 hr. Then wipe excess off and enjoy soft feet again!
I love to make an exfoliant out of brown sugar. :)
A drop or two of jojoba oil where you get black under the eyes and around the edge of the eye (where those little wrinkles start out at the very edge), just before going to bed. Every night. Works great to keep the wrinkles away and help to prevent the black under the eyes. I love it!
I like the hair dye with tea.
My favorite is also the oatmeal bath for soothing my itchy skin! I also add some loose red tea to give it a nice scent and because that is also supposed to help problem skin!
I've never used a DIY beauty anything. Does that mean I'm out of "the running"?! :o(
oatmeal face mask, definately. It left my skin feeling wonderful.
The oatmeal face mask!
Though I have never tried it, or any homemade beauty recipe, my mom has always told me using cold coffee or tea would darken and add shine to my hair.
