UPDATE: Congrats to sstepph for winning this $50 Target gift card! Her favorite DIY beauty recipe is the oatmeal face mask!
Not only are homemade beauty products good for your body because they are free of chemicals, but they are great on your wallet, too. And as many of you know, they are easy to make.
I've featured recipes for oatmeal face mask, hair dye made of tea, powdered milk face wash, chocolate facial, green tea skin toner, and many more.
Sometimes, though, we have our favorite product that we just can't live without.
On that note, want to win a $50 gift card from Target so you can get your must-haves along with items to make your favorite DIY beauty products.

My favorite DIY beauty recipe is:
Laugh, smile and find something to be happy about, even if it's just the blue sky. It makes everyone more attractive, instantly!
I love to use plain yogurt with cucumber blended in as a facial. Great for zapping oily skin and leaves you feeling refreshed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oatmeal mixed with honey works wonders for smoothing and toning the face.
I Must agree with the Lemon for acne prone skin,I also use Lemon in my Hair,In the Summer for Natural High Lights!
Love the oatmeal face mask! Works great for dry skin!
sugared vanilla coconut salt body scrub!
1/2cup salt
1/2 cup organic sugar
1/2cup coconut oil
1 tbs jojoba oil
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract or 6 drops essential oil of your choice
mix all of it in a glass jar. stir before each use and no refridgeration needed!! stores indefinitely in an air tight container!
I love using plain yogurt with honey and bluberries on my face as a mask for 15 minutes...feels GREAT!
Oatmeal to a powder in blender and skim milk :).
Avacado face masks: Mash or blend a quarter of an avocado (with 2-3 teaspoons of coconut oil if you have it) until you have a smooth paste, apply liberally to the face and neck, then relax for 10 minutes. Remove with a soft, damp cloth.
Coconut oil, cold pressed, is awesome for skin as well!
The Oatmeal face mask is my favorite. You don't even have to use it for your face. I have very dry skin and I can use it on my arms and the bottom part of my legs and feet. It is the cure all and end all of dry skin. Not expensive and it works, can't beat that.
