I have naturally red hair and would never dye my hair. Although I'm always told how beautiful my hair is and how people wish they could find it in a bottle, I often wish it weren't red, but just a common brown. Too much comes along with the red hair, from nicknames to stereotypes..it's just not worth it.

I have dark brown and right now its blonde with blue in the front and underneath.. I've had stylists tell me to go red before, but I'm scared it wont look good! I'm so so pale that they think it would compliment my skin.. who knows, maybe Ill give it a shot after the blue washes out, lol.

If I was going to dye my hair red, I'd want the red that they used on Jean Gray's hair in X-Men 3: The last stand. Her hair seriousially looked like fire when it was all spread out.

I have naturally blond hair that has naturally darkened up A LOT over the last few years and started to look kinda mousy. So i went with a medium auburn and love it! i feel more like a sex goddess and less like a frumpy house wife lol. (most of the time at least lol). some times a little change is all we need.

I have naturally red hair and have been every color under the sun. pink green blue brown you name it I've been it. But none of those weird colors look as good as the one God gave me.

I was born with darker brown hair, with a TON of red highlights in the summer/sun...and very fair/freckles...and green eyes. BUT all my Dad's Irish, and a lot of my relatives have the red hair/complexion/freckles/blue eyes thing going...My Mom's Part Cherokee, so her coloring won out...except, I got the PREMATURE GRAYING of my Dad's Family. I streaked, frosted, you name it...and have been a lot of colors. One day, I went to a friend of mine who has a Salon, and he said to me, "Baby, you were BORN TO BE A REDHEAD with the skin and green eyes...wanna try it?" And I did. And I LOVED IT!! Been a Redhead ever since--but I do it myself...and I do it lighter in the summer and darker in the winter...and use 2 SHADES...Strawberry Blonde, and Light Golden Brown. (that's because red doesn't cover gray--and the brown does. Ever see little old ladies with that pinky orange shade? Well, That's why. Now...please be warned, y'all...RED hair fades faster than ANY OTHER SHADE, and like I said doesn't cover gray well. I do my hair, which is just above my brastrap, EVERY 3 WEEKS...and the other thing? You have to leave it on A LOT LONGER FOR IT TO ADHERE TO THE GRAY...I leave it on for about 90 minutes. So...good luck, and at least TRY IT. AND...just remember--YOU NEVER HEAR DUMB REDHEAD JOKES. heh.
