So what do you have planned for the weekend? I'm heading upstate NY where there are lots of trees changing color for some pumpkin picking, maybe a hay ride, and most definitely some antique shopping. Audreysmommy123 asks what's up for the weekend in the Newcomers Group. She's going to see Taylor Swift and Rascal Flatts. It's Thanksgiving in Canada for tamlub, so it's turkey time for her. And brycesmom122007 is getting married on Saturday! Congrats!

Whether you've got a lot going on or nothing to do, here are some fun Beauty & Style items to keep you looking fab.

From Varsity Couture

#1: Skin care

If you are going to be outside, you need to protect your skin. Dr. Patricia Agin of the Coppertone Solar Research Center reminded me that UV rays can harm even in fall. They can pass through clouds, even if it's a grey day. So if you are going leaf peeping like me, make sure you protect your face and hands. Dr. Agin says that "the skin on your hands is just as susceptible to sun damage as the skin on your face." So wear some sunscreen. Coopertone's Oil Free line is good for your face and won't clog your pores. Thanks, Doc.

#2: Cute coat

I don't know about you, but on most weekends I don't like to fuss too much about what I'm wearing, but if I'm going out, I still want to look cute. Varsity Couture's Swing Cape ($75) feels like a fleece blanket, but is super stylish...and it's brought to you by two sports moms, Marla Massel and Lynne Hefter. The moms are excited to say that this coat is going in the gift bag for the nominees at the Academy Awards! Isn't it cute?

From Sephora

#3: Yummy lip balm

And for you lovers of vintage and pin-up chic, on10's Are You a Schweppicure Set ($28 from Sephora) may be one of the cutest things I've seen. It's a metallic clutch featuring a classic Schweppes model with three tubes of lip balm inside. Choose from Dry Grape, Ginger Ale, or Tonic Water. Yum! Grape!
