I love scarves. And I love the ones you can wear as part of your outfit...not just to keep you warm when you go out in the cold.
A couple of years ago, I got a knit cowl very similar to this Knit Neck Warmer ($9.99 on sale) from Urban Outfitters. It can be draped over my head as a hood, can be worn hung low (as seen) for extra warmth with a tee, and can also be worn double wrapped to a cozy neck warmer. I have one in a caramel color and am wearing it right now. Cozy.
Then I found this Necklush!
Necklush ($40) from necklush nyc comes in many colors. Sure, it's a little pricey, but I think I would get a lot of use out of it. Made of many free form loops, the necklush can be worn in lots of ways -- drape it long or wrap it around neck to have that turtleneck feel.
I bet lots of ladies who knit know exactly how to make this. I want to learn!

The first one is okay but the second one just looks like she wrapped yarn around her neck. Just go buy a skein of yarn from the dollar store and wrap it on if you want that look! Save yourself $39.
