It's Chinese New Year! I was born in the Year of the Rat according to the Chinese Zodiac and this past year was my year. But today, we are entering into the Year of the Ox. Those born in 1901, 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, and 2009 have the Ox as their symbol.
I found some super cute items that would be a great gift for any Ox. And have a little info about this sign, too.

Some famous folks born in the Year of the Ox include Barack Obama, George Clooney, Meg Ryan, Richard Gere, Kiera Knightley, and Bruce Springsteen.
The Ox is a born leader -- someone who is dependable and can achieve great things. They are patient and logical. They may not speak a lot, but they are very intelligent. When they do speak, they are eloquent and articulate. They can be stubborn and do not like being told what to do. They are truthful and sincere, and do not like to be in competition. They often veer away from trends and are most sociable when they feel relaxed and secure with others.
The Year of the Ox is said to be a tough one for family, but that doesn't mean we can't be as strong as an Ox and overcome them. And this year is supposed to bring good fortune to troubled economic times, as long as we all put in a lot of effort. Success will come through hard work.
Are you born in the year of the Ox? Are your kids year of the Ox babies?
