The Inauguration of our 44th President, Barack Obama, is coming up fast and there's lots of speculation as to what soon-to-be First Lady Michelle Obama is going to be wearing to the Inaugural Ball. She loves everything from off-the-rack items from J. Crew to the couture of Narciso Rodriguez.
I did a little virtual shopping for Michelle and here are some dresses I think she will look amazing in.
Above:
- Diane von Furstenberg Maupiti Flutter Sleeve Long Chiffon Dress ($485 from Intermix) -- it's silk and has stars.
- Tadashi Navy Cap Sleeve Gown ($388 from edressme) -- I love the elegant back detailing.

From left:
- Notte by Marchesa Ruffled Silk Halter Gown ($935 from Saks) -- anything by Marchesa is amazing in my book and I love ruffles.
- Etro Printed Jersey Knit Gown ($1,660 from Saks) -- an unusual choice, but I love high neckline, bohemian print, and the deep browns and purples.
- Zac Posen Long Siren Gown (4,900 from Bergdorf Goodman) -- turquoise is a hot color and I love the cascading ruffles, criss-cross back, and detailed bodice.
- BCBG Max Aria Printed Silk Chiffon Gown ($355.60 from BCBG) -- it's flowy, elegant with gorgeous yellow, and beautiful gem-encrusted belt.
Love the rhinestone American flag pin? You can get yours at PinMart for $7.95.
Which dress do you love best for Michelle Obama?

I really don't care, I won't be watching.

I don't like any of them and I won't be watching anyway.
I'm still laughing over her hideous black widow spider debacle.
I won't be watching either - have better things to do with my time. Oh yes, that black and red dress she wore election night was hideous - even for her.
Some people just have too much time.
Seems like such an insignificant thing to be concerned with while there are so many more serious issues going on in the world right now.
Ah ladies... We've already come to realize that our CM Buzz has little to do with regular life- give them the chance to play dress up with the new first lady! We might as well dream, I personally don't want to see another disaster like before... The whole world is going to be watching this event! lol
I personally think she'd look best in Red- but I like the Tadashi Cap Sleeve (navy with detailed back)... Maybe a red version of that one?
Hopefully she wont spend too much though- remember how upset everyone was about Mrs. Palin spending too much- we wouldn't want a double standard... right?!? haha
Are some people still hurt over Obama becoming our President? LOL
you can't make 'em all happy zacnmariesmom. Personally I like the Tadashi. You know Michelle loves the fitted styles.
I AGREE WITH ALL THE ABOVE COMMENTS ESPECIALLY ABOUT THE RED DISASTER SHE WORE ON ELECTION NIGHT. WHO DESIGNED THAT ONE MORTICIA ADDAMS
