There are so many movies inspired by Halloween, but no other movie has the cult status of Hocus Pocus. Long after its 1993 release, we're still just as obsessed with it. From Hocus Pocus costumes to swag inspired by the Sanderson sisters, we are all in. Even the movie's cast members are still bewitched by the movie. Though speculations about a sequel surface from time to time, our hopes are always dashed. Luckily, the original is so good, we can just rewatch that, over and over again.

Every year, in the weeks leading up to Halloween, we turn to this classic movie to get in the spirit of the holiday. For those who have Hocus Pocus fever year-round, there is a more permanent way to pay tribute to the Halloween comedy. There is a surprising number of fans out there with Hocus Pocus ink, from portraits of the three Sanderson sisters, their brooms and vacuum cleaner, and all of the hilarious one-liners this movie is famous for. The book of spells makes a few appearances, as does everyone's favorite talking cat. Some of these tattoos are as colorful and grand as the movie's costumes, but a few are subtle and small, with just a pinch of magic.  They're all mesmerizing and take us all the way back to Salem in 1993, but don't be scared: It's all just a bunch of Hocus Pocus.

Blonde, redhead, or brunette? No need to choose which iconic sister hairstyle is best when it comes to this colorful tattoo! Each sister is represented perfectly and the broomstick adds just a little more magic to the whole thing!

3/25

So Realistic!

It's amazing how realistic some tattoos can look! This one, featuring Mary as played by Kathy Najimy, looks almost as real as a photograph, right? Mary would probably love getting to be the spotlighted sister, instead of Winifred for a change!

Spooky Grave

Oh, poor Emily Binx! The mystery and legend of what happened to Emily Binx really sets the whole movie into motion, so it's nice to see her get her due on this leg sleeve tattoo! This one also get bonus points for having the spell book too!

'Hocus Pocus' Icons

This one is so cute! We love the way that each of the flying brooms (err, or vacuum!) is shaded to reflect the different colors of the Sanderson sisters. These flyers might not be quite as iconic as the sisters themselves, but when it comes to tattoos, they are pretty close!

6/25

'Mean Girls' Mash-Up

This tattoo is perfect for the pop culture fan who is obsessed with both Hocus Pocus and Mean Girls! The flying vacuum cleaner scene is one of the best site gags in the whole movie, so any tattoo that references that is sure to make fans cheer.

The Sanderson sisters have never looked so chic! This tattoo, which isn't quite finished, but is already so cool, showcases a sexier version of the sisters, which, let's be honest, they would probably love!

Given to the sisters by the devil himself, a few drops of this elixir take the drinker's youth and beauty. This one isn't as obvious a reference to the movie as some other's featured on this list, but that little bit of mystery makes it extra cool.

15/25

It's Just a Bunch of 'Hocus Pocus' Tattoo

Bubbling cauldron, black candle, and the hand of a sister who is up to no good? Check, check, and check! This tattoo immortalizes one of the movie's most memorable lines, and serves as a good reminder to never underestimate magic.

16/25

Bette Midler 'Hocus Pocus' Tattoo

Winifred forever! The cruelest of the sisters is also the funniest and has some amazingly creative insults. We love Bette Midler for about a million reasons (you might even say she is the wind beneath our wings) but she'll be forever iconic for playing Winfred so perfectly.

17/25

French Lesson 'Hocus Pocus' Tattoo

"Hello, I want my book" is an often quoted line from the movie and the only bit of culture the sisters manage to hold on to. This foot tattoo is a little edgy and lots of fun for movie fans who are also love to read.

Broomstick & Spell 'Hocus Pocus' Tattoo

The beginning of the spell that transformed Thackery Binx into an immortal black cat stars in this tattoo. It's a little dark and a lot of mood to make that into a tattoo, but the broom design adds a little sweetness to this look as well.

20/25

23/25

Colorful Brooms 'Hocus Pocus' Tattoo

While the sisters don't make it through the movie, they do leave something behind to remember them by! The only things left of the sisters at the end of the movie are these brooms, so it's fitting that they get permanently memorialized with this fun tattoo!

24/25

Tiny Book 'Hocus Pocus' Tattoo

Not everyone wants a bold tattoo, so sometimes small and cute is the way to go! Die-hard fans of Hocus Pocus who want something a little bit more discreet can get a tiny book of spells tattoo. This one is simple but well done!
