Designer Oscar de la Renta said, "Fashion is about dressing according to what's fashionable. Style is more about being yourself." For some, putting together flawlessly styled outfits and choosing the perfect accessories comes naturally. They have a knack for it. Those people usually work somewhere in the fashion industry.

For the everyday mom, like myself, it's a little more difficult. I've always loved the arts, design, and style and incorporating those elements in my clothing. But between the months of fatigue of my first trimester of pregnancy, and now the miles of circles I run after my 2-year-old, I just haven't had the time. The attention I used to give to the sartorial arts, I just don't have time for anymore. Now, I need a little inspiration.

Thank goodness our favorite celebrities -- many of whom are mothers now -- have stylists. Unlimited budgets for stylists to buy all their clothing and fittings to pull together outfits for every occasion -- because at least I can get some inspiration from it. I've seen this play out on Keeping Up With the Kardashians many times. Outfits for running to the store, outfits for dropping off the kids to piano lessons -- all from which we can take notes and draw inspiration.

Here's a list of some of our favorite stylish ladies, and a few clothing ideas to help us look just as put together and cool as they do. I've mostly used their street style as a basis (because when's the next time I'm going to be on a red carpet?). And the best news? I've found copycat styles on a dime! As busy as we are, we can still look like we have places to go and people to see when we step out of the house -- even without the stylists and unlimited funds.

Kourtney Kardashian

We start our list off with the Kardashian many find to be the most stylish -- mother of three, Kourtney Kardashian. Although she's been a mom for the longest out of the sisters, there's never been a time where I haven't seen her put together. With an affinity for menswear-inspired pieces paired with denim shorts and jeans, no matter what she's doing, she looks impeccable.

Kourtney loves a nice button-down shirt. Channel her simple menswear-inspired style with this button-down top and some high-waisted checkered shorts, like the ones pictured.

Kim Kardashian West

Kim's style has made a 180-degree turn since being with music and fashion mogul, Kanye West. This current iteration of her style is much more mom-friendly than the former. When dressing down, Mrs. West loves neutral biker shorts, hoodies, sweatpants, and jackets from her husband's Yeezy line. When dressing up, she prefers simple silhouettes that complement her shape. Somehow, she makes the most comfortable of clothing look a million bucks. Which, in her case, probably is.

This outfit looks so comfortable! But also uber cool. Thanks to Kim and Kanye, rocking sweat pants is no longer slumming it, it's a whole trend. Try these grey slim-fit joggers paired with either a sweatshirt (as pictured), or a neutral-colored bodysuit for a warmer day. A cute pair of boots or sneakers  finish off the look.

The quintessential Meghan Markle outfit has to incorporate her staple piece -- a gorgeous long coat. Quality coats are often pricey, but affordable versions can be found. This checked trench would bring a polished vibe to literally any outfit.

Hilary Duff

The soon-to-be mother of two always looks so cozy, but also so pleasantly accessorized. Her hats, scarfs, and jackets have inspired some of my favorite layered looks in the past. When taking a closer look, outside of the accessories, she's usually just wearing leggings and a tee. Genius!

This super curvy model has a uniform that shows off her favorite features but still manages to look easy and put together. She loves matching top and skirt sets. Outfits like this can save a mom-on-the-go so much time trying to coordinate pieces. Sets like the ones Ashley wears are just "grab-n-go!"

Combine Ashley's love of longline jackets and matching sets in one, with this ultra-fresh but sultry outfit (the entire look can be shopped at the bottom of the page). The star of the look is the long blush-colored coat that appears to be lightweight and comfy.

Lauren Conrad

Since the days of Laguna Beach, and later The Hills, Lauren has always been known for her effortlessly simple, yet feminine style. She's most frequently covered in floral patterns and delightfully delicate prints. Never one to overdo it, she accessorizes with dainty necklaces and tiny rings. Her one-of-a-kind style made it only natural that she'd become a fashion designer with her own line.

One of Lauren's favorite patterns to wear is a delicate floral print. A blouse like this one is perfectly soft, but still a knockout piece.

Kelly Rowland

The ever-so-talented mother and wife, Kelly Rowland, has always been the epitome of chic. Her outfits always ride the perfect line between being modern and "on trend" with striking prints, but also classic, with perfect cuts and tailoring. Statement pieces like this leopard trench can be worn so many times and in so many different ways.

Tracee Ellis Ross

Tracee Ellis Ross, in my mind, is already a fashion icon. She's only in her 40s, and has many more years of entertainment ahead of her, but every outfit she wears always leaves me inspired and -- honestly -- stunned. The fact that she styles herself only highlights that her quirky, funky yet sophisticated style is exclusive to her. Although her looks are unconventional and push the style envelope, she always looks comfortable.

Neon Ribbed Turtleneck

One thing I've noticed about Tracee is that she wears a lot of neon. Almost every outfit in the last post had a neon or bright color in it, and there are a few others that I didn't include that incorporated neon. Somehow, she takes those bright colors and incorporates them in bite-sized pieces that don't blind us, but instead dazzle us. By incorporating neon in layers or modern cuts, we too can add some flair to a closet that might be too monotone (I know mines is practically all black and neutral -- boring).

Rihanna

Although Rihanna is known for her ability to rock any type of extravagant fashion on magazine covers and red carpets, her fancifully erratic sidewalk style is definitely not to be overlooked. When examining her style, the artistry is just as much in how she is wearing her clothing as it is in what she is wearing. Never one to choose the predictable, or blend in with the wall, Rih Rih's distinctively styled ensembles are always striking.

Trying to borrow from the style of someone whose fashion choices are as capricious as Rihanna's is almost a losing game. We just never know what she will wear next, and just when we've gotten around to getting something she wore yesterday, today she will be onto something else. One thing remains constant, however, and that is her love for sneakers. That and her love for the unique and outlandish. Take a piece of Rih Rih's boldness and pair these gold sneakers with a pair of sweatpants and a tee, a pair of jeans and a sweater, or even a simple skater dress! This, of course, is for the more daring, edgy mom.

When I see pictures of Katie Holmes, I don't know why, but she gives me a modern day Audrey Hepburn vibe. Her looks are always classy, always clean-cut, and never overaccessorized.

Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani will no doubt go down in infamy, not only as an amazingly creative pop star, a hugely successful fashion designer, but also as one of the most stylish women (and mothers) out there. Rarely is she seen without her platinum hair and signature red lip. So many people try to emulate her impeccable sense of style that fuses a rock 'n' roll sensibility with a bit of skater, a touch of reggae vibe, and a dash of classic Marilyn Monroe-inspired beauty.

To perfectly replicate Gwen's style is near impossible. However, one thing she is known for is rocking a lot of clothing by punk style pioneer Vivienne Westwood, as well as Westwood's signature tartan print. Bring out your inner rock star (which as a mom, you already are), with these beautifully tailored plaid pants. They can be paired with a casual graphic tee and some Vans, or dressed up as pictured, with a sweater and booties.

Vanessa Hudgens

I have a special place in my heart for the bohemian goddess that is Vanessa Hudgens. Dubbed as the Queen of Coachella, Vanessa's hippie-inspired style obviously borrows from ’70s and ’80s fashion influences. However, she never ceases to keep it fresh and modern by adding a bit of a punk rock edge to her looks, whether its with a tiny choker or a chunky boot and leather jacket.
