The Sheer Agony Over Pantyhose

I have see through skin, i need to wear them. I don't want to do the fake bake and I can get pretty pale. Your legs need to WELL moisturized and smooth if your going to try not wearing hose.

I think that in the summer here in Texas ,when it is 100 degrees, going without hose is just fine, but towards the fall, hose looks more proffessional with a skirt or dress. Also only in winter, id wear black hose. But the inventor of hose should be shot, because those things are heck to put on, and to keep from having runs in them!

I haven't worn pantyhose in about 10 years.  Those contraptions are worse than bras.

I hate wearing panty hose. It makes me feel like my mom. I do like the colored tights trend, and just bought a pair of footless black tights for an upcoming event.

I havent worn them in forever! I dont see many women wearing them anymore.

I love pantyhose.I wear them pretty much daily.I am always dressed as if I still work,even though,I don't.Just a habit.Pantyhose can be a pain.But,if you find the right brand,etc...they are fine!

i found this article interesting. i grew up during the 70s and 80s and pantyhose were and everyday thing for women in the UK at that time. i assumed the same would apply to myself. which would be fine if it were because i actually enjoy wearing them. but since leaving the uk and living in the US it seems that pantyhose got left behind with the 90s. I live in Texas so there are two if not three months of the year that pantyhose are just not a good idea. lately though, the younger hipster crowds in my University town have been wearing them with everything. Shorts, halter tops, minis, etc, etc,. I'm glad and think they are coming back, especially the black variety. I've been wearing them all along anyway!

The only women that I know that don't wear pantyhose are the old ladies or the tomboys. They make your legs look great and they are a lot more comfortable than they used to be. In the hot summer, it may be stockings instead of pantyhose, but otherwise it's pantyhose all the time. They sure improve your chances of getting a date too.

In winter wear tights, in summer wear thigh-high stockings (they take some 'getting used-to') Thigh-highs are great for expectant moms under their spring & summer dresses.
