Usually at weddings, those in the bridal party -- like bridesmaids -- will wear coordinated outfits to signal to the other guests who they are in relation to the bride and groom. But at a recent wedding in Sydney, Australia, a group of six female guests unintentionally showed up wearing the exact same dress. Will the real bridesmaids please stand up?

The six ladies with similar taste were attending teacher Julia Mammone's wedding on Saturday, and none of them knew that the other was wearing the same $160 Debbie Lace Pencil Dress from retailer Forever New.

"I've heard of two women, maybe three, wearing the same dress, but six?" Mammone told the Daily Telegraph. "You couldn't make it up."
"You should really start a bridal registry so that your customers can inquire whether anyone else has purchased one of your dresses for the same event," Debbie Speranza, one of the guests, wrote on the Forever New Facebook page
Speranza was at the wedding when she looked up and did a double take after she spotted her cousin in the same dress. "She mouthed 'Oh my god' back at me from the other side of the reception room," Speranza said about the realization.
At first, according to Mammone, you could feel the tension between the women when they all noticed the fashion coincidence.
Neither Mammone nor her actual bridesmaids (who each spent twice as much on their real bridesmaids dresses) were upset. "In the end, we all cracked up about it," Mammone told the Daily Telegraph. "It's every girl's worst nightmare, what else can you do?"
We're glad this potential scenario of "Who wore it better?" was taken in good spirits among these ladies -- maybe a future as a bridesmaids troupe is in the cards.
