Awards season kicked off with a glamorous bang on Sunday night when TV and film's best and brightest strutted their stuff on the red carpet of the 2017 Golden Globes.

It's safe to say that Hollywood's glam squads brought their A-game when prepping celebs for the big night, with a focus on glowy skin and silky strands. In fact, there wasn't a beauty faux pas in sight (at least not from the cozy confines of our couch).

Mandy Moore, Jessica Biel, and Reese Witherspoon all opted for sleek hair, while bold lips graced the faces of Golden Globe winners like Tracee Ellis Ross.

Want to recreate the best of the best from the big night? Check out these tips from the very folks who created the night's most stunning looks.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum oozed sex appeal with a smoldering, smudged wing-eyeliner look, created by celeb makeup artist Patrick Ta. Want to copy it? Patrick used a lash curler on Jenna's natural lashes an applied one coat of mascara before applying a set of falsies. "This method always delivers the most natural look," he explains. Patrick used KISS Lash Couture Strip Lash Adhesive to the lash band, allowing it to dry for 30 seconds before applying KISS Lash Couture in Little Black Dress to the natural lash line, starting at the outside corner.

Sarah Jessica Parker paired her whimsical braided updo with an absolutely killer dramatic eye look. Makeup artist Leslie Lopez says the eyes are always a priority for SJP, so she reached for her favorite Laura Mercier products to create this look for the red carpet. First, she applied Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Smoke across the entire lid, following it up with the Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Moonlight at the center of the lid to light and open up the eye. Next, Leslie used the Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Tuxedo at the inside of the eye and blended it using Laura Mercier Creme Eye Detail Brush. Leslie wanted "more freedom to make the eye stronger and bigger," so she used Laura Mercier Editorial Eye Palette Intense Clays, applying the Metallik Platinum shade across the eye lid and under the eye using Laura Mercier's Clay Smudge Brush

Reese Witherspoon's sideswept chignon was the perfect complement to her stunning pastel yellow gown. Hair stylist Adir Abergel emphasizes starting with clean hair for the right foundation prior to styling. To get the look, Abergel used Virtue Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner, then towel-dried strands with Virtue Create Uplifted Volumizing Whip. Adir then rough-dried Reese's hair with the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer to cut down on drying time, using a round brush to create a voluminous, smooth finish, making sure to sweep the bangs over for a sideswept effect. A medium-sized curling iron was instrumental in adding deconstructed waves to the hair. Adir added height at the actress's crown by teasing the hair and sealing in volume with Virtue Create Finale Shaping Spray. For the chignon, Reese's hair with gathered in a low ponytail, secured with an elastic, with Virtue Create One For All 6-in-1 Styler applied through its length. Next, Adir twisted the ponytail into itself, counterclockwise, securing with hair pins. Hide the ends by tucking them in and pinning.

Jessica Biel and husband Justin Timberlake were the picture of Hollywood glamour at the Golden Globes, and we adored her sleek, braided updo. Adir Abergel (who worked double duty Sunday night, also styling Reese Witherspoon) prepped Jessica's locks with Virtue Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner, then applied Virtue 6-in-1 Styler to hair once it was towel-dried. Next, Virtue Create Uplifted Volumizing Whip was applied from roots to mid-shaft, then hair was rough-dried using a big round brush for a glossy, smooth finish. Adir drew a deep side part for a dramatic effect, then backcombed hair above the nape of the neck to create texture. Using an Adir x Lelet NY liquid chain comb, the stylist gathered hair into a low ponytail. Hair was braided along the chain, secured at the end with an elastic. Adir pulled the braid upwards against the head, then tucked the ends in and secured in place with bobby pins. A final mist of Virtue Finale Shaping Spray kept the look in place.

Hair stylist Craig Gangi was inspired by Anna Kendrick's Vionnet gown to give the actress a sleeker style that would show off the one-shoulder silhouette. He prepped her tresses with John Frieda Frizz Ease Daily Nourishment Shampoo and Conditioner, followed by John Frieda Frizz Ease Straight Fixation Styling Creme while strands were still damp. Once Anna's hair was blown out straight, Craig used a rat-tail comb to draw an extreme side part, pulling hair behind her ears. For an even smoother texture, he flat ironed the top from roots to mid-length. Her hair was then wrapped around a two-inch barrel curling iron to create an elegant wave, making sure the look stayed put with John Frieda Luxurious Volume Forever Full Hairspray.

No one shined brighter on the Golden Globes red carpet than Tracee Ellis Ross (seriously, look at that skin and that smile!). Makeup artist Jamie Greenberg knew that the look was going to be all about great skin, so she prepped the actress with all kinds of goodness for an amazing glow. "First, I started by prepping her lips with Kiehl's Butterstick Lip Treatment, then applied I applied two drops of Kiehl's Daily Reviving Concentrate to make her skin look super dewy," says Jamie. "On top of that, I used Kiehl's Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream, and the combination of everything just made her skin look really glowy. I dabbed a little Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado under the eyes, and then I applied Kiehl's Micro-Blur Skin Perfector as the last step before the makeup." But what about that beautifuly red lip? That comes courtesy of blending.

Makeup artist Robin Siegel didn't want to compete with the sparkle of Felicity Huffman's white, gold, and silver jumpsuit, choosing to keep the actress's makeup fairly matte. To give her a flawless complexion, Robin carefully curated the skincare she used to prep the skin, opting for Kiehl's Daily Reviving Concentrate and Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream to impart a dewiness. To smooth Felicity's complexion, Kiehl's Micro-Blur Perfector was applied all over the face, with a focus on the center. Robin then used Cle De Peau Concealer in Beige as needed, then Tom Ford Waterproof Foundation in Tawny with a brush, blending it with a Beauty Blender. "I applied Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Cream Blush in Honey right on the apples of her cheeks, blending it up and out, and used a very tiny bit of the highlighter in Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate, right on top of her cheekbones," she explains. "Blend, blend, blend, then I pressed Tom Ford Translucent Finishing Powder all over her face, concentrating on the t-zone."

Lily Collins looked like royalty in her Zuhair Murad gown, topped off with a gorgeous textured bun. Gregory Russell styled her hair for the big event, inspired by the beaded details of the dress. To start, he applied a golf ball–sized amount of John Frieda Luxurious Volume Perfectly Full Mousse on the roots for lasting volume, and then another golf ball–sized amount to the lengths of the hair for body. Next, he brushed through her tresses, blowing the hair out with a multi-bristle brush and setting the "mohawk" section on velcro rollers securing each with a duckbill clip. After the hair had cooled, he began curling hair with a 1.25-inch barrel, spraying each section with John Frieda Luxurious Volume Forever Full Hairspray. Gregory then curled the mohawk section away from the face, fastening each curl with a duckbill clip. He sprayed the roots with the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Volume Refresh Dry Shampoo to add lift and texture, removing the clips and brushing out, sectioning out 1 inch of the perimeter of the hair all the way around the head. Next up, Gregory added a pearl-sized amount of John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Weapon Touch-up Creme to the remaining hair and secured it with a bungee hair tie at the crown of the head. He worked through selected pieces from the perimeter and pinned them back, leaving some wispy face framing pieces out. Lasty Gregory braided the remaining hair into a fishtail, pulling it slightly apart for texture and shape, then fastening it around the bun with hair pins before setting with

Mandy Moore's eyes sparkled last night, partly because she's reveling in the success of her NBC hit This Is Us but also thanks to the pretty eye look created by her makeup artist Jenn Streicher, who prepped Mandy's eyelids by applying Laura Mercier Eye Basics in Linen. To create definition, she applied Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Rosegold all over the lids, then used Laura Mercier Matte Eye Colour in Fresco blended into the crease, almost all the way up to the brow bone. Layering a variety of golden and copper shades, Jenn then applied Chantecaille Mermaid Eye Color in Copper on her lids, following up wiht Laura Mercier Baked Eye Colour in Terracotta in the crease. But the color doesn't stop there. She proceeded to apply the dark indigo hue from Laura Mercier's Editorial Eye Palette Intense Clays on Mandy's bottom lash line, adding drama to the look. From the same palette Jenn applied the light gold shade all over the lids. Still using the Laura Mercier palette, she applied the blue metallic color to create a subtle pop in the corner of Mandy's eyes. Ardell Lashes were then applied, along with a coat of Laura Mercier Extra Lash Sculpting Mascara.
