The 10 Best Bronde Hair Looks for Fall, Inspired by Celebs Who Slay

If you're a low maintenance kind of girl, chances are you've already tried the ombre (or sombre!) look. And what's not to love about it? It's easy, universally flattering, and means you don't have to get a touch-up the second your roots start to show.

But if you're looking for something different this fall, bronde hair color may just be the trend you've been yearning for. Blending together shades of -- you guessed it -- blonde and brunette, this magical hue instantly warms up the face, and is flattering to all types of skin tones.

"Bronde is a great color to transition to during the colder months," says Lauren E. Hack of LAUREN + VANESSA. "This low-maintenance look also works best for the brunette who wants to experiment with a subtle golden highlight."

The bronde look usually requires foils or balayage (hand painting) to make sure the overall result is striking yet subtle. Some stylists recommend combining the two coloring techniques together, in order to give the hair a natural sun-kissed effect.

To find your best bronde color, expert colorists recommend considering your skin tone first, as this helps determine which shade best flatters your complexion.

"Cool skin tones should opt for cooler to neutral shades of blonde and brown for the most flattering result," says Kate Reid, design director & North American education director of COLOR.ME by Kevin Murphy. "Always choose natural, ash, beige, or muted chocolates shades."

Warmer and darker tones can also get a gorgeous bronde by embracing shades of gold. This helps brighten the complexion, while allowing the eyes to pop.

"A warmer or golden skin tone will work best with a shimmer of brandy, toffee, and peanut brittle tones to give that natural rhythm of color," says George Alderete, Keune North American creative ambassador. "Similarly, golden tones will always enhance a darker complexion, which helps create a warm glow to soften her skin.”
