Channel Princess Diana in ASOS' Newest Royalty-Inspired Capsule Collection

It's difficult to come to terms with the notion that you'll probably never be royal. Prince William is very much spoken for, and as for Harry -- well, there's a one-in-a-million chance (sigh). But when it comes to looking royal, that's a whole new conversation, entirely.

Sharmadean Reid, the brains behind cult nail brand WAH London, has just released her first collaboration with ASOS. What was her inspiration, you ask? Why, the nothing short of regal Diana, Princess of Wales -- but no tiaras here. This is all about the off-duty Lady Di.

"[We] found all these images of Princess Diana in streetwear," Reid told Dazed Digital of her inspiration. "She always loved bomber jackets, she actually dressed quite American preppy, she even wore Harvard jumpers."

True to form, the collection boasts a lot of playful '80s-inspired pieces, including not one, but two, power suits, plus chunky knits, pops of color, and a metric ton of pearls.

So while there may not be any actual thrones to sit on or kingdoms to rule, you can sure feel like royalty in this collection -- especially since prices range from $9.70 to $189, a sum that is anything but princely.
