Steal This Wild & Sweet Valentine's Day Nail Art in 6 Simple Steps (PHOTOS)

You'll need a steady hand, a few colors, and a swiping brush. A tiny paintbrush will do, and some even just use toothpicks. Step 1: Apply a clear base coat of your choice to nails. Let dry.

Step 3: Draw a heart in a bright red or pink on bottom or top of each nail using a striping brush, positioning the heart in any direction. You can choose where you want to put these hearts, but put some at the lower part of the nail, and others at the tip. Step 5: Using a black polish, draw strokes with the striping brush around the heart designs. Make some curved and some straight.
