Everything You Need to Know to Get the Most Glam SAG Awards Beauty (PHOTOS)

We always marvel at the many ways in which Hollywood glam squads can mix up looks for their A-list clientele, and the Screen Actors Guild Awards was a perfect example of their stellar work.

We're still obsessing over Kaley Cuoco's geometric smoky eye and Uzo Aduba's luminous skin. Lucky for us the seriously skilled ladies and gents who created some of our favorite looks from the red carpet were generous enough to share some of their secrets.

Check these out.

Jamie Greenberg created what was easily the most interesting eye look of the night for Kaley Cuoco. "Kaley's makeup look is inspired by 'sexy strength,'" she says. "It's all about being confident, gorgeous, and powerful and not apologizing for it." To get the eye look, Jamie first applied Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Eye Shadow in Smolder to the entire lid, and then Beautiful Color Eye Shadow in Romance to the crease. To create the winged effect, she used Smith Cosmetics Brush #302 and #232 to blend both shades, along with Beautiful Color Eye Shadow in Spice, together and outward. For added depth, Jamie applied Elizabeth Arden Beautiful Color Precision Glide Eyeliner in Black Velvet to the upper lash line and lower waterline, and then heavily smudged both lines., setting the liner with a mix of Smolder and Spice shadows.

Finally she added volume and drama to her lashes with two coats of the NEW Grand Entrance Mascara on the top lashes and one coat on the bottom.

  • Uzo Aduba

Uzo Aduba literally glowed in the red carpet. We couldn't get enough of the luminosity of her skin. Janice Kinjo is the woman responsible for Uzo's beauty look, which involved a lot of healthy skin prep. "I started with Kiehl’s Turmeric & Cranberry Seed Energizing and Radiance Masque to brighten and hydrate her skin. After washing it off, I used Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate and sealed it with Kiehl’s Ultra Deep Moisture Balm to add hydration to her skin," she explains. "It made her skin so supple and dewy. Then, I used Kiehl's Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado so that her makeup would not crease under her eyes. Lastly, I put on Kiehl’s Lip Balm #1 to hydrate her lips." Once her skin was prepped for makeup, she went to her go-to Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in #10 to highlight, BlackUp Foundation in HC12 to contour, and set it with BlackUp's Loose Powder in PL14.

  • Brie Larson

If Brie Larson is going to keep scooping up big-deal awards like her SAG trophy, she's going to have a lot of red carpet looks in her future. Mara Roszak created her elegant updo for the night. "Brie wore a beautiful, powder blue Versace gown," she says. "I wanted her hair to be modern and sleek to complement the elegant silhouette of the dress." Mara started by applying L’Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Lustrous Oil Serum to Brie’s damp hair, then blow dried and flat ironed her strands. Once dry and straight, she made a center part and applied L’Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Extraordinary Oil Transforming Oil-in-Cream to smooth the hair and tame flyaways. Mara then took each side of the hair and twisted it backwards started at the ear, pinning at the nape of the neck into a low ponytail. Next the stylist sprayed L’Oréal Paris Elnett Hairspray for hold. She took the ponytail and looped it, leaving the ends out for a more modern feel, and then pinned into place. To finish, Mara applied L’Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Nutri-Gloss High Shine Glossing Mist all over the hair to give it a glossy shine.

  • Kate Winslet

Soft but sleek updos was clearly a thing on the 2016 SAG Awards red carpet, although hairstylist Renato Campora took a different approach when creating Kate Winslet's look. First, Renato prepped the actress's damp hair with a mousse to enhance volume and applied hair oil to the ends to lock in moisture, like Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Hydrocream Whip and MarulaOil Rare Treatment Oil. Renato used the Neuro Motion Dryer to dry hair in sections and then created a dramatic side part separating the top section of hair and securing the bottom section into a low ponytail. He separated the ponytail into four pieces and began twisting the hair and wrapping pieces around each other to create the base of the chignon. Next he twisted pieces side to side with the top section of hair blending into the chignon already in place. You can enhance the texture of the twists with a texturizing spray like Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Texturizing Sea Spray to create movement in the hair. Securing the chignon with bobbi pins and a strong, long-lasting hairspray, Renato likes to use a product like Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild Ginger Finishing Spray, as it leaves hair secure but not stiff and completes the look with a shine spray for a glossy finish.

  • Naomi Watts

As soon as we spotted Naomi Watts's bright berry lip we knew we needed to find out which shade she was wearing! As it turns out, makeup artist Tyron Machhausen created a custom lip color for Naomi using both L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Gloss in Rouge Envy and Forbidden Kiss. This gave her lips a bright pop of berry color with a velvety finish. Swoon.

  • Julianne Moore

Does it seem like Julianne Moore never ages? Of her SAG Awards look, makeup artist Elaine offers said the goal was to try to complement her vibrant green gown instead of match it. "Julianne is wearing a pistachio green sequin dress by Givenchy -- bright, springlike, and shiny -- so we erred towards a classic, fresh look. Pretty skin, lashes and a pink pout." To create her glamorous eye loo, Elaine chose shades from the L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche La Palette Nude 1 to shape and contour the eyes, accenting the upper lash line using Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Brown and Infallible Silkissime Eyeliner in Highlighter to open up/brighten the eyes and subtly neutralize redness. For added luminosity, Infallible 24H Eye Shadow in Endless Pearl and Eternal Sunshine were worked into inner corners and eye lids. Lashes were coated in Voluminous Butterfly Mascara and brows defined with Brow Stylist Definer in Blonde.
